Q: I am a 27 years old pregnant woman. My doctor has advised an early ultrasound after 10 weeks of pregnancy. Earlier the pulse of the fetus was missing on ultrasound. Now the pulse has been found but in addition to it a corpus luteum cyst was found on my right ovary (size of 33 mm). What are the problems I would be facing with this cyst and what is the remedy to get rid of it?

A:At 10 weeks, the fetus and its cardiac pulsations should be seen clearly, as far as corpus luteum cyst is concerned, invariably it shrinks when the placenta takes over at about 12 weeks.
