How can an eye allergy be treated?

Q: I am a 22 years old male suffering from eye allergy for the last four years. My eyes are always red and itchy. I have tried so many eye drops including Relistat, Otive, Ofax Dx, Gfoltas but haven’t got any relief. What do I do to get rid of this eye infection?

A:One of the drops that you are using has steroid, which you should be careful about, and should not use without a doctor's prescription. Give cold packs to the eye, and dont rub them. There are many good medications available today for long term allergy, and discuss with your doctor if you need them. Avoid chemicals, fumes, dust etc.
