Getting pregnant when diabetic
Q: I am a 36 yr old married woman. I was diagnosed as diabetic at 29. I am thinking of having a child now. I had an abortion right after my marriage around 7 and a half years ago. Never tried for a baby after that. What are the chances now? My sugar level is a little erratic and I take insulin shots of about 65 units a day. Please advise.
A:If your blood sugar control is good on Insulin, you can go ahead and get pregnant.
