Duodenitis - acidity

Q: I am affected with acute acidity. Medical check-up has revealed duodenitis with urease. In the early morning I get maximum discomfort with a bitter taste in the mouth. I have become very sensitive, dislike to talk and face people. I come out of the discomfort by taking one litre of water on an empty stomach and vomiting. I have tried allopathy and homoeopathy but to no avail. Please suggest a cure.

A:It seems that you may have a infection with a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori in your stomach. It can be tested with endoscopy, if the infection is found, it can be easily treated with antibiotics. Other lifestyle modifications like quitting smoking, decreasing coffee and alcohol intake, sleeping with head of your bed raised up and taking medications like omeprozole will help.
