Q: I have worn a loop during second week of April. For a month it was ok but after that my appetite has gone up and my hip size has increased. Someone said that when we wear a loop we tend to become fat and once it is removed, one would reduce? Is there any other reason for becoming fat? Please guide me?

A:Let me set your mind at rest regarding the loop. Your appetite and weight gain would not be caused by it but what could have happened is that you just felt safer and therefore less stressed with it there. You may then have started to eat and relax more which then lead to a gain in your weight.
