Does my baby have a squint?
Q: I think my 7 months old baby girl has a squint in her right eye. We have noticed this immediately after she was born. Her right eye does not move to the sides sometimes and stays in the middle. But, this does not happen always, sometimes the eye moves. Is this a squint?
A:The mother must take her child to an Ophthalmologist/Squint specialist to rule out the presence of a squint. Children in the first few months, occasionally have the impression of a squint, however, if this dis-coordination persists after the age of six months, it must be looked after by the eye specialist.
