Do testing strips and glucometre have an expiry date?
Q: Do diabetic supplies like lancets, metres, test strips expire? If yes, why and what can we do with the supplies if they expire?
A:Strips have a expiry date on the bottle but once opened should be consumed in a span of three months time. Nowadays some of the bottles have a packing of 10 as well. Meters do not have expiry but from time to time these should be calibrated. Lancets also have a expiry on the packing. After expiry strips and lancets should not be used.
