deviated nasal septum

Q: I am 26 years old. My problem is my deviated nasal septum. The nasal septum is deviated to the right. Recently I had a respiratory infection and the doctor suggested me to get expert advice on this problem of nasal septal defect. How do I correct is? Is surgery the only alternative. If so, will there be any side effects or scars after surgery? what would be the estimate cost and will it solve my problem? Eagerly awaiting your answer.

A:This can only be done by surgery and this is done through the nostrils with noexternal scar. There should be no side effects from the operation but I haveno idea of the cost. It should solve the problems if these are only causedby the deviated septum. You need the advice of a good ENT surgeon
