Circumcision
Q: I want to know how is Circumcision done? Is it painful? How big a surgery is it? At which hospitals is it done? After the surgery are there any restrictions and how many days it takes to recover from it? Which doctors do it and are there any cases of any kind of side effects and how is it done?
A:Circumcision is a relatively minor procedure which is done under local anesthesia (making the part numb with an injection given at the site of the operation). It can be done in any hospital where surgical facilities and a surgeon are available. It takes about a week for the pain of the procedure to completely disappear although one can go to work the next day. If properly done there are no complications.
