Q: I am 42 and came to Italy about six months back on a R&D project. In India I used to have chest pain left side. Has gone for TMT, ecg, and 2D echo tests, in june 2001. All were negative. Here I still feel the pain in chest and get tried very easily ?Please advice ?

A:Your chest discomfort appears non anginal to me since all yourinvestigations were normal last year. Take it easy. If you are very concerned about the symptoms you might get the TMT etc repeated.Italy has all the facilities and non invasive tests and blood test toestimate lipids should not be prohibitively expensive. Meanwhile take hygenic health measures like low fat diet, regular walks and no smoking.
