Can my son's cordii problem be corrected?

Q: My son is 10 months old. He is having a cordii. Doctor says that circumcision should not be done as the skin on the lowerside is already cut. The size of his penis is small as compared to other infants and it looks bent in the downward portion. What is the solution? Will there be any problem in future?

A:This is an entirely correctable condition. An operation will be needed that will straighten the penis and also relocate the opening at the tip. This operation is done at an age between 1-11/2 years. After a good correction, there are usually no problems in the long term.
