Can blood thinners concurrently be used with painkillers?

Q: Do Warfan and Plavix interact with Celebrex, Indocid or Olfen?

A:There is no known direct drug-drug interaction. However painkillers such as celecoxib (Celebrex), indomethacin (Indocid) and diclofenac (Olfen) cause some amount of gastro-intestinal irritation, erosion and possibly bleeding. Therefore blood thinners such as warfarin and clopidogrel (Plavix) should be concurrently used with great caution.
