Can a wart be surgically removed during pregnancy?
Q: I am 24 weeks pregnant now. I had a wart/mole (not sure but a small growth of flesh) outside my vaginal area before pregnancy. The doctor had noticed it during the pap test. At that time, the doctor said its fine if it doesn't hinder the delivery. Now it has started growing and is nearly 1 cm in length. It is not painful or irritating. Should I inform the doctor and get it treated? Will this affect the baby? I am getting tense over this.
A:Chances are that this will not affect your pregnancy, but it can be safely removed in the second trimester of your pregnancy.
