Can a mix of painless and the ordianry DPT vaccine be given?
Q: I would like to know whether the painless DPT vaccine can be given as a second dose if the first dose was the painful (ordinary) DPT vaccine?
A:Although not ideal, it can be done and will give fairly good protection. Once again the cost of the acellular (painless) vaccine is much more.
