Q: My wife is suffering from a acute Kidney diaorder, her both kidney got shrinked, one is not functioning and the other is fuctioning abt 40 -50 %. The Serum urea is about 40 now & S creatinine 2.4.She is 28 now, and this was identified three years back, we were getting treated by a leading Nephrologist at Trivandrum. But as per his opinion Pregnancy to be avoided, as far as possible. Since we dont have childrens so far, we would like to go ahead with the preganancy.Our gynic doctor has encouraged to go ahead. Is it Ok, what precuations required? Pl advice.
