Are pinhole glasses helpful in any way?
Q: I have come to know about pinhole glasses. Can these be used by patients of cataract in both eyes and people with reading glasses? Do they help in any way?
A:Pinhole glasses are not really useful for the most part, and certainly not for cataracts. They are also hardly useful for persons needing reading glasses as they do not command a good field of vision. They are mostly useful for those with high powers, distortions in the vision and lots of irregularities in the power.
