Are my thyroid reports fine?
Q: I got my thyroid tests done and the report is T4 - 8.04, T3 - 1.1 and T S H - 8.27. I have a healthy life style, exercise regularly and have a balanced diet. Please let me know what does this report indicate?
A:As per your reports you have subclinical hypothyroidism and the treatment depends upon the cause of hypothyroidism and whether you have high cholesterol or not. So get anti-TPO done along with lipid profile and get back to me. In case these tests are abnormal then you will need medications.
