Will the sperm count improve after varicocoele surgery?

Q: My husband underwent a surgery for varicocoele two months ago. But the results are not too good. The doctor says that there is no improvement after surgery and suggested Clomid and Fertility Blend for 3 months. He also said that it takes 3 months to get good results. My husband's sperm count is 19 and the motility low. How much time does it take get a good sperm count and motility after the surgery? We have been married for 5 years and have been trying for a baby since then. Will using Clomid and Fertility Blend be useful? I have tried IVF twice but miscarried in the second month. I am 27 years old and do not have any problems. Please advise.

A:It usually takes about 6 months to 2 years for the improvement after surgery. It depends upon the age at operation. Early operation takes lesser time. A count of 19 million is close to normal, as the normal is 20 million/ml or above. Clomid etc. are ok. Depression worsens situation so avoid stress.
