Q: My 10-year-old son does not sleep on a night, when his father and myself show any intimacy with each other. If he comes to know that something is happening, he will come into our room and becomes visibly upset. We have tried to talk to him about sex, but the problem still occurs. Is this normal and what can I do?

A:Please fix a clear bedtime for your son, by which he should be in bed and asleep. He should not be wandering around in your room. Children are curious about sex, but not generally envious. Make sure your child receives proper sex education in school or at home. Teach him the rules of propriety and good manners.
