This to me suggests that he has urinary infection and this is due to the combination of the prostate gland that is enlarged and causes compression on the urine tube. This leads to retention of the urine in the bladder, which gets infected giving rise to his symptoms. His diabetes can also contribute to the symptoms. He needs to consult a urologist without delay for investigations, diagnosis and treatment.
