Where can I get growth hormone injections at reduced price for my child?
Q: My daughter, 8 months old is a child with hypoplasia of pituitary gland. She is given hydrocortisone and eltroxin. Now she requires growth hormone. I wish to know if there is any organization to help my child to have growth hormone substitution? Please help me.
A:To the best of my knowledge there is no organization which provides growth hormone injections free or at a reduced price to patients and their families. You may personally contact the drug companies which produce and market the drug for help. Patients who are beneficiaries of medical services such as EIS or some autonomous bodies have the facility to get reimbursement of the expenses incurred on the management of the disease as per their rules.
