Q: My 18 months old son's MMR vaccine is due. What is the correct time to get my son vaccinated with MMR? What are the side effects of this vaccine?

A:Side effects are virtually none. It would be advisable to give this vaccine to your baby now; the recommended age for MMR is usually 15 months in India and 9 months for measles vaccine alone.
