What precautions are needed for a jaundice patient?
Q: My son is suffering from jaundice. His total bilrubin is 7.5%. His exams are approaching after 10 days. Is travelling harmful after 10 days? He does not have any complications except yellow eyes. What precautions do we need to take?
A:It depends upon the cause of jaundice. If it is hepatitis, avoid sternous activity, avoid rich foods and have good hand washing habits. Travelling may not be a good idea.
