Q: It has recently been found that my 6-year-old son has 5-6 calculi of 1-2mm size in his gall bladder. A:Well first it is very important to rule out any underlying aetiology for it. It's not important to go for surgery immediately. I would recommend you to rule out haemolytic causes and check his lipid profile. There are no dietary restrictions if the lipid profile is normal.
