What is the difference between hair weaving & hair transplant?

Q: What is the difference between hair weaving & hair transplant? What are their side-effects? Which one is the safest? How much do they cost e.g. 2 cm radius?

A:Hair weaving is the use of an artificial wig which is applied to the bald area of the scalp. It is an artificial attachment, kept in place by clips or other such appliances. It is totally different from Hair transplant which is a procedure by which the hair are transplanted on to the bald area of your head, which subsequently grow like normal hair, need haircuts, never fall, can be combed, oiled and shampooed and are permanent. It is a procedure of Hair Restoration. Both procedures are safe and have no side-effects. It is difficult to give you an estimate without seeing you, but a radius of 2 cm would cost you approximately Rs. 20,000/- for a hair transplant. The weaving, being an artificial procedure would be much cheaper.
