A:Hormones in cancer prostate works the best in advanced cases of cancer of the prostate with symptomatic secondaries. Persons use hormones as and when they cannot offer surgery or radiotherapy. Personally those indications for hormones are also indication for no treatment in my practice. I do not believe in giving hormones as a shot in the dark or a desperate remedy phenomenon.
