A:There is no such term as ‘pnumoniosis’. There is, however, a term ‘pneumoconiosis’ which is a disease of the lungs caused by long-continued inhalation of mineral or metallic dust (such as asbestosis or silicosis) resulting in fibrosis and scarring of the lungs. Respiratory problem / disease / illness / disorder is any condition affecting the respiratory system which is an integrated system of organs involved in the intake and exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between an organism and the environment.
