Q: I am a 31 years old man having pain in the left side of my back. I got a urine test done recently in, which the physical examination showed colour yellow, turbidity as clear and nil deposit; chemical examination revealed pH - 5.0, sp. gr - 1.03, sugar - nil, protien - ++, blood - +++, ketones - nil, bilirubin - nil, urobilinogen - normal; and microscopic examination showed pus cell - 12-14/HPF, epithelial cells - 2-3/ HPF, Red blood cells - many/HPF, crystals - nil. Please advise.

A:Your urine report shows gross pyuria (pus cells) and microscopic haematuria (blood). These are not disease in themselves but indicator of many disease of urinary tract.
