What can cause frequent headaches followed by vomiting?
Q: I am having a problem with my stomach and head. I am getting severe weakness for 30 minutes or so. If I take some food it will decrease. I tested my blood for sugar, no sugar problem. I am also getting frequent headaches and I will vomit whatever I take during that time; once I vomit my headache will reduce. Can you suggest me whom I should consult and if this is a problem at all?
A:Symptoms of vomiting and headache could come from minor problems (e.g., a nervous stomach, or food allergy), or may signify more serious causes, such as brain tumour, hypertension with brain swelling, or a stomach disease. However, there is no possibility of offering useful advice without there being a full examination by a medical practitioner who can look for evidence of these and other possible causes.
