A:Bone Marrow Transplantation is the only curative treatment for CML . With perfact match donor apprx 70-80% can get permanent cure by BMT. During transplant patient are at risk for infection, graft versus host disease and some other complications of BMT. Transplant related moratality is approximately 20%. The cost of treatment is approximately rupees 10 lac to 12 lacs (mainly depends on complications).
