Q: My daughter suffered burns on her leg and chest (hot water spilt). The injury was suffered in September last year. I have been using Evion 600 in the area for acclerating skin growth. But I find the results are too slow or not very effective. Can you suggest an alternative method for faster skin growth so that there are no scars left.

A:Scar formation at the site of burn depends on the depth of burn. Healing of a burn with more depth will certainly lead to a bad scar. The case needs to be shown to a Burn specialist/Surgeon to find out the right kind of treatment. She may require skin grafting etc. If it is already healed burn, you may consult a dermatologist. Vitamin E, though a skin vitamin, does help in pigmentation part mostly.
