A:There is no problem if both you and your wife have the same blood group. There is very little to choose, as far as blood group of spouse is concerned. However both can get themselves tested for thalassemia trait if coming from areas where thalassemia is common ie. north, east, central India. When the wife is expecting, get blood groups of both partners done and proceed from there.
