Is there a permanent solution to my daughter's problem?

Q: I have a 4 years old daughter. She is suffering from tonsil infection for the last 3 months. Every time I go to the doctor he prescribes an antibiotic which solves the problem temporarily but she relapses within a week or so. Right now, she is on an antibiotic named Augmentin for the last 3 days. The doctor has prescribed the course for 7 days. I am fed up of running again and again to the doctor. Is there any permanent solution? Since she is only 4 years of age, the doctor is advising me not to remove the tonsils. Actually her resistance is very less and the moment she resumes her classes at school she gets infected.

A:If this has been going on for the last one year or so then I believe that surgery will definitely benefit her. There is nothing wrong in opting for a surgery and it will not decrease her immunity.
