Is my one year old child's diet alright?
Q: My 1.2 year old son does not take food properly. He just feeds himself on milk, fruits, fruit juices or boiled vegetables. Is this a substitute for solid food? I have tried giving wide varieties of food but in vain. Can rice or wheat be replaced with boiled potatoes? He insists on mixing boost with milk. Is it advisable to give health drinks at this age? His weight is 10 kg. Please help.
A:Cereal is also required for your son. Try wheat, dalhia and vegetables, rice mixed with potato and vegetables. You can also mash chapatti and vegetables. Try giving banana/mango/cheeku milk shake alternatively with Boost and the stop slowly.
