Is miliary tuberculosis treatable?
Q: My sister (46 years old with two children) has been diagnosed to be suffering from Miliary Tuberculosis. She has been running a temperature for 2 months (between 102 to 104) and is in the hospital for the last 8 days. The diagnosis was made just 8 days ago and the treatment is 8 days old. Will she be cured 100%?.
A:If it is miliary tuberculosis, it is fully curable with six months' short course chemotherapy. I presume the diagnosis is already established.
