If the baby's head is not fixed, before delivery, is there any problem?
Q: My delivery date is next week. My problem is that the ultrasound scan report says that the baby's head is not fixed. Will this lead to serious problems like operation or will I have a normal delivery?
A:Is it your first baby? Usually during the first pregnancy, the head gets fixed 2-3 weeks before the due date. But head not fixing does not mean that you can not deliver vaginally. If it is your second or third baby then the head usually does not fix before onset of labour.
