Q: I was diagnosed after CT scan to have inflamed sinus. Besides I have been having headache quite regularly deemed as migraine, for which I was prescribed Vasograin 1 b.i.d., Stemetil 1 b.i.d, and Alprazolam 0.25 mg once at bed time. My doubt is regarding treatment for sinusitis. The pathological tests and other scan reports of the brain are absolutely normal. Please advise.

A:You do seem to have sinusitis related headaches but further confirmation will be required in the form of a diagnostic nasal endoscopy. Also please have a neurological evaluation done. The treatment for sinusitis will then depend on any other associated symptoms and their correlation with the CT scan and endoscopy findings.
