Q: I am 15 and weigh approximately 55 kgs. I wish to increase my weight. And I also exercise. Do I need to follow a strict diet or can eat freely according to my in order to increase my weight?

A:From what I gather, at 15 years you seem to be pretty ok with the weight you already have! But we need to have more than just your age to reach a conclusion that your weight is ok for you. Factors like your body build and your activity levels also need to be taken into consideration. It is always a good rule to go for healthy nutritious food to add on weight. 3-4 servings of vegetables, 2-3 servings of fruit and a balanced diet of cereal, fibre, proteins, carbohydrates and a small amount of fat, should make up your daily diet.
