Q: Sir,My son who is aged 2.5 years has grown a hair inside the eye lash for last one year. We consulted the local eye specialist and he advised to pluck it out. we have already plucked out the hair 3-4 times. You are requested to advise 1) whether there is any other option is available for the permanent removal of the hair?. 2) what adverse effects it can have on eye sight?

A:1)For permanent removal of hair you can get electrolysis, removal of the hair from the root done by your local eye surgeon. 2)If the mis-directed hair inside the eye-lash line touches the cornea of the eye then a corneal opacity can occur which can impair the eyesight.
