Q: My skin below the finger nails becomes extremely dry like dandruff and it makes my nail loose. Repeated tests have ruled out any symptoms of fungus or any other infection. Also, I have not responded to any medicine including a wide variety of anti fungal drugs. Putting a lot of oil helps but offers no cure. Problem becomes worse when it comes in contact with water or soap and it becomes terrible when the hand comes in contact with detergents. I have been suffering with this for last 10+ years.
