Do I need to give my 5 years old child any more vaccines?

Q: My daughter is 5 years old and has taken all the vaccinations till date. I recently went to Kerala where I found one of my cousin's five years old daughter was given one vaccine when she was 5 years old. He told me that she has to take two more vaccines when she will be 10 years and 15 years old. Since we live in a very remote area we don't have access to a lot of information. We have taken all the vaccinations till 4 years or so as per our local hospital and the oral vaccine which ever is declared by television. Last time when we went there they refused to give as she had over 5 years. Do I need to give her any more vaccines?

A:You are probably talking about pulse polio vaccination, which is not given after five years of age. The vaccine that your cousin appears to be talking after five years of age is tetanus toxoid vaccination, which can be given at five yearly intervals.
