Do I have a serious heart problem?

Q: Early this year I had a feeling of extreme exhaustion and attack of breathlessness which continued for a few days. I underwent ECG, ECHO and TMT. On the basis of TMT results I underwent an angiography and my main coronaries were found to be okay. I was diagnosed as having pan coronary slow flow and given medication (Remipril 5 mg and Statins). I would be grateful if you could provide me with a detailed information on this state and provide me with guidance on further course of action, as I am still not feeling fully fit?

A:From your reports, you do not appear to have any serious heart problem. I think the Statins may have been given for high cholesterol. You can continue them for 6 months and repeat your cholesterol. In addition, you should stay on Aspirin. I suggest Ecosprin 75 mg after dinner for a long time to come. You should go back to your doctor if you are not feeling fit. It is possible you need some other tests. Your problem may not be cardiac.
