Can udiliv dissolve gallbladder polyps?

Q: I am 63 years old male. I had an ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis and it was found that I have tiny multiple polyps (less than 5 mm) in my gall bladder. I have been advised to take udiliv tablets 150 mg, to be taken 3 times a day for three months. Can udiliv tablet dissolve gallbladder polyps? If not, then will I have to remove the gallbladder?

A:Tiny gall bladder polyps can be left alone as they have very small chance of being cancerous. It is unlikely that udiliv will dissolve the polyps. If there is any doubt in diagnosis better to have your gall bladder removed laparoscopically as it is quite a safe operation if done by an expert.
