Can I take wine after heart surgery?

Q: I am 48 years old man who had a stent implant 4 months back. Can I take a limited amount of wine?

A:Limited amount of alcohol intake after stent implantation is permissible. Up to 1 glass (200 ml) of wine or 60ml of proof 42% whisky or other equivalent alcoholic drinks is acceptable per day. However, I want to reinforce that this is the upper limit of permissible intake of alcohol and it is not that it is being recommended as desirable.
