Can I give milk products to my son suffering from milk allergy?

Q: My 13-month-old son is suffering from milk allergy since he was four months old. Since then till the age of one year, we never tried to give him any kind of milk products. Only after he turned one year old, I tried giving him curd in very little quantity. He did not develop rashes for the first two days, but then developed mild rashes. Earlier, he used to develop a rash as soon as he was given milk products. Similar was the case with homemade paneer. Does this mean he is slowly developing immunity? Can I try giving him egg?

A:If he develops a rash with milk products like curd and paneer, then I would suggest these should be avoided. If you wish to try egg, try a small amount in the daytime, and if tolerated increase the amount slowly.
