In the US the link between mercury contamination and autism in children has been established. Is any research being conducted in India? I am a grandparent of a child who was branded as autistic, but with treatment and Indian system of medicine, the child has been cured and is in the main stream of a reputed school. All the symptoms found in the child earlier have completely disappeared.

A:I do not know whether there is a link between mercury contamination and Autism. I am impressed by your child's autism having been treated by the Indian Medicine system. I think this needs publicity. May be you could write about it in the popular press or have a journalist you know, write it up.
