Are the Durex Performa condoms safe for regular use?

Q: I recently used Durex Performa condoms that contain a climax control lubricant that helps in delaying climax and prolongs duration of the sexual activity. But after the intercourse, I felt numbness on the tip of the penis for quite some time. I want to know that whether these condoms are safe to use on a regular basis? Do these have any short/medium/long term side effects? Please advise.

A:These condoms probably contain a local anaesthetic that numbs the part, thus probably delaying ejaculation in some cases. Besides, the nipple area of the condom could cause some pinching effect at the tip of the penis, adding to the numbness. Since many chemicals used in the condom can be absorbed through the skin, long term use is inadvisable.
