Dr Debashish Das (Physiotherapist) is an accredited and registered physiotherapist with both the Indian and the Australian Physiotherapy Associations. He is an associate member of Sports Medicine Australia and Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Upon completion of his post-graduation in Orthopaedics at the University of South Australia, he undertook further training to develop expertise in the conservative management of acute trauma, working in an advanced role in the Emergency Department at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide. He also undertook further training and certification to specialise in sports physiotherapy. He established himself as an Orthopaedic and Sports physiotherapist consulting at a private practice in Adelaide before returning to India after a 14 years stint in Australia.
Upon returning to his hometown, Delhi, he set up a practice along with his wife Dr Rebekah Das PhD, an academic at university of South Australia and a highly specialised continence and women’s health physiotherapist. They undertake regular courses and workshops to help improve evidence based physiotherapy standards in Delhi. He enjoys badminton and golf as regular form of exercises and photography as a creative pursuit.
