Even though I moved to United States 7 years ago, I wish to continue to make contributions for the betterment of the society there in whatever possible way I could. I think this presents to me as a unique opportunity wherein my services can be utilized in a productive way for a small philanthropic cause.
Dr Naveen Atray studied medicine from the King George Medical College, Lucknow. Soon after graduation in 1995 and after spending a brief period at AIIMS, he went to the United States for higher studies. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 2000 and the Nephrology fellowship in 2002. He is a ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine) Diplomat in Internal Medicine. He is also a Diplomat in Nephrology boards and Hypertension boards as well. Currently he is an Asst. Professor of Medicine at LSU, Shreveport.
He is also Staff Nephrologist at Overton Brooks VA Medical Centre, USA. He is a "Designated Specialist in Hypertension" by the American Society of Hypertension.
His areas of interests include Hypertension, Hemodialysis, Nutrition in Kidney Failure, Anaemia in Kidney Failure and transplantation, Chronic Kidney Disease.
