Why am I getting tiny freckle like blisters under my eyes?
Q: Over the last few months, I have developed tiny freckle like blisters under my eyes. They do not appear to be filled with fluid and are painless. Other than this, I have no observable symptoms of an eye infection. Is this related to blood cholesterol? Please tell me if this can be treated?
A:These are probably Syringomas - benign growths of the sweat ducts. They do not cause any morbidity, except cosmetologically. Can be removed by electrocautery, radiofrequency, cryo or lasers.
